🚨 TOURNAMENT #1 IS A GO! 🚨

The weather is cooperating, and Tournament #1 is officially ON for Saturday, May 30th! A few important reminders before heading offshore: 🎣 Boats may depart beginning at 4:00 AM 🎣 Lines in at 7:00 AM sharp 🎣 Lines out at 5:00 PM sharp ⚖️ Weigh-In will be held at Virginia's from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Be sure to look for the CCBGFC banner on the rail at Virginia's when you arrive. Please review the tournament rules regarding weigh-in procedures and scoring sheets. ALL weight sheets must be turned in at the weigh station at Virginia's, including teams scoring billfish. We are working to build participation and fellowship at the weigh-in, and your cooperation is appreciated. Have your scoring sheets ready to complete and submit when you arrive to help keep the process running smoothly. Good luck to everyone competing this weekend. Fish hard, fish safe, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the dock for weigh-in! Reminder to please take a picture of your signed weigh sheet for any scoring disputes. Tournament #1 Reminder – Review Rules Before Offshore This Weekend

Good afternoon anglers, Tournament #1 is almost here, and we’re looking forward to kicking off the 2026 season offshore on Saturday, 5/30/2026. Before heading out this weekend, please take a few minutes to review the updated tournament rules on the app or website. There are a few important reminders and changes everyone needs to be aware of before lines go in. Key reminders for this weekend: • Boats may not depart before 4:00 AM • Fishing hours are from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM • Lines in no earlier than 7:00 AM • Lines out promptly at 5:00 PM Please also note the updated Go / No-Go decision timing for 2026. The official decision will be posted the day before the tournament between 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Communications will be sent out via email and through our app. This is a slight change from last year’s rules, so make sure you review the updated procedures. We also want to remind everyone that ALL scoring sheets must be brought to the weigh station. We are working to increase traffic and fellowship at Virginia’s during weigh-ins, and we appreciate everyone helping support the club atmosphere. Please have your scoring sheets ready to be filled out before arriving at weigh-in to help keep things running smoothly. Early registration helps speed up sign-in at the door and allows everyone to spend more time enjoying the evening with fellow anglers. We’ve got a great meal lined up for the night: Appetizers Veggie Tray Tuna Dip Embryo Dinner Menu Prime Rib Fried Shrimp Grilled Chicken Salad Mixed Vegetables Mashed Potatoes Dinner Rolls We’ll also have some incredible raffle prizes and bucket raffles throughout the evening, including: RTIC Rolling Cooler Penn 80W Reel Set of Dredge Rods SIX themed fishing gear buckets packed with tackle and offshore essentials tailored for targeting specific species And don’t miss the always-popular 50/50 raffle, where the winner takes home 50% of the total money raised in that raffle bucket!
