THAT’S A WRAP on the RECORD-BREAKING 27th Annual Keli Wagner Lady Angler Tournament presented by PELAGIC GEAR! With 267 boats and an estimated 1,500 lady anglers competing for a piece of the $393,125 purse, this tournament was ofFISHally the largest lady-angler event in the world!! REEL CURRENT reeled in the top spot with 2 Blue Marlin and 4 Sailfish releases, netting 1,300 points and a whopping $126,225! MARLIN FEVER made quite the splash, hooking a grand slam with 2 Blue Marlin, 1 White Marlin, and 2 Sailfish, landing them 2nd place and $30,855. REEL QUICK wasn't far behind, catching 3rd place with 2 Blue Marlin and 2 Sailfish releases, earning $20,570. In the Dolphin category, SAILS PITCH hooked the Parker Boats Level II: Dolphin WTA with a 28.7lb dolphin, earning them $133,195. POST CALL reeled in a 25.6lb dolphin, snagging second place and $13,713. GOOD ENOUGH lived up to their name with a 29.6lb Wahoo, claiming first place and $20,570. COUNTER CURRENSEA hooked a 24.5lb Wahoo, reeling in $13,713. SANDBOB made waves in the Tuna Division, hooking both 1st and 2nd place with a 29.3lb and a 24.8lb tuna, winning a total of $34,283 ($20,570 for 1st place + $13,713 for 2nd place). The Linda Rike weigh-station was action-packed! 50 gamefish were brought to the scales today: 38 dolphin, 10 wahoo, and 2 tuna.
