OBBC Tournament Update

Hi everyone Thanks very much for being a part of this 8th Annual OBBC. It was a lot of fun! I will be reaching out to all winners individually this week to make arrangements to present awards. I will be filming and posting the trophy awards as they are given out...all can be viewed on the tournament app. There is a ton of content already uploaded on the OBBC IPTV section. Also worth noting we Will be having an awards ceremony next year. Like I mentioned at the captain's meeting, we are really pushing for a pigroast dinner and tent on the greens in Oak Bluffs with shuttle service from Falmouth for mainland boats. Congrats to all 2021 winners! OBBC Points Scoring Update!

Hi everyone...we are almost set for Day 3 weigh ins! It looks like there are some boats who did pretty well with billfish catches today. In case of a tie, we will resort to time of catch, awarding the win to the vessel that scored their total points first during their declared fish time window. Time of catch will be based on hours fished, not the day of the week. So "hours fished" begin when a vessel starts it's trip. This ensures that all vessels have an equal scoring opportunity regardless of which days they choose to fish. We will have the final tally up tonight. Winners will be posted on the app, and on the OBBC Facebook page. I will reach out to all winners to set up logistics for award presentations. Stay tuned!
