Less than 10 days away from MCC!

Hello MCC Family & Friends, We’re less than 10 days away from the 2026 Montauk Canyon Challenge, and the anticipation is building. This year’s event is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Montauk. As we head into tournament week, here are a few important reminders: Captain’s Meeting Friday, July 10 | 4:00–8:00 PM The Captain’s Meeting will be held at Gosman’s Dock. Ample parking is available in the Gosman’s lot on the west side of the street. Calcuttas Calcuttas are now available on the tournament website. All Calcuttas may be paid by credit card, with the exception of the $5,000 and $10,000 Calcuttas, which must be paid in cash. Alternate Captain’s Check-In If you’re unable to attend Friday’s Captain’s Meeting in Montauk, we’ll be at Whitewater Outfitters in Hampton Bays on Thursday, July 9, from 6:00–8:00 PM. Please RSVP if you plan to pick up your captain’s bucket there so we can have everything ready for you. Captain’s Buckets This year’s captain’s buckets are bigger than ever, filled with new tournament apparel, hats, and an incredible collection of premium gear and giveaways from our generous sponsors. You won’t want to miss them! We’re looking forward to another incredible week of world-class fishing, friendly competition, and making memories with all of you. Hello MCC Family & Friends, Spring is finally here, and the offshore season will be here before you know it! We wanted to share a few important updates for the 2026 Montauk Canyon Challenge: - The early entry discount ends this Friday, MAY 1st - register now to save! - We’re currently ahead of last year’s registration pace, which points to a bigger tournament and larger payouts in 2026. - We’re excited about our new location at Gosman’s Dock. Feedback has been great so far, and there will be ample parking along with a shuttle (Sponsored by Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage) to transport participants from local marinas. - Our Billfish Calcuttas have been expanded and enhanced, including a $10,000 first-place prize (must participate in at least one billfish calcutta). - New this year: The MCC Stringer Calcutta - featuring 2 Bigeye and 1 Yellowfin.
