Hello MCC Family & Friends, Spring is finally here, and the offshore season will be here before you know it! We wanted to share a few important updates for the 2026 Montauk Canyon Challenge: - The early entry discount ends this Friday, MAY 1st - register now to save! - We’re currently ahead of last year’s registration pace, which points to a bigger tournament and larger payouts in 2026. - We’re excited about our new location at Gosman’s Dock. Feedback has been great so far, and there will be ample parking along with a shuttle (Sponsored by Cooper Capital Specialty Salvage) to transport participants from local marinas. - Our Billfish Calcuttas have been expanded and enhanced, including a $10,000 first-place prize (must participate in at least one billfish calcutta). - New this year: The MCC Stringer Calcutta - featuring 2 Bigeye and 1 Yellowfin. Tilefish will also make their debut on the calcutta board. - We are excited to have Montauk Yacht Club as our official Marina and Dockage Sponsor. - As always, our Captain’s buckets will be packed with great items from MCC and our sponsors. - The REEL FEST returns on July 18th from 1 - 5 PM at Gosman’s Dock - open to the MCC teams and public with music, activities, vendors, and more. - Sponsorship deadlines are approaching quickly - Let us know if you’d like to get involved. *Don’t miss your chance to become the New York Offshore Champion, by fishing both the MCC and the Hamptons Shootout. We’re thrilled to announce that Gosman’s Dock will be the new home of the Montauk Canyon Challenge. This partnership opens up exciting opportunities for our team and for the 2026 MCC. The Captain’s Meeting, Weigh-Ins, and Awards Dinner will all take place at Gosman’s Dock. We’ll share more details as we get closer to the tournament.
